Jordan Harley, currently an Apprentice Accountant at 果冻传媒app, has reached the final at the Finance Awards Wales 2021 in the Accounts Technician category. Every year these awards showcase the best in finance talent throughout Wales and Jordon is one of the three shortlisted within this sector.
Studying at College Cymoedd, Jordan has recently completed his Association of Accountancy (AAC) Level 3 qualification, not surprisingly with an average of 94%. Shortly to begin his AAC Level 4 course this highly motived Apprentice is keen to become a fully qualified Accounts Technician.
Jordan commented:
鈥淚 am so pleased to reach the finals of this prestigious award and to be recognised for all the hard work that has gone into my studies. I would like to thank Aspire Blaenau Gwent who gave me the Apprenticeship opportunity at Blaenau Gwent CBC, my work colleagues and tutors Cymoedd. My ambition is to be become a Chartered Accountant and becoming a finalist feels like another step closer in reaching my dream鈥.
The awards ceremony takes place at City Hall Cardiff on 3 September and recognise everyone from Finance Directors to Chief Financial Officers and the next generation of apprenticeships and graduates. As the only local authority candidate to be shortlisted this year in any category Jordan is truly setting a precedence.
