People across the UK will join millions around the world in the biggest celebration of entrepreneurship. Over 180 countries will be celebrating, with over 40,000 events being organised during the week 鈥� connecting participants to potential collaborators, mentors and investors. Global Entrepreneurship Week inspires people everywhere through local, national and global activities designed to help them explore their potential as self-starters and innovators and Blaenau Gwent will join in with the celebrations. A series of events are being held this week in the Borough for new and existing businesses and entrepreneurs:

During Global Entrepreneurship Week, Blaenau Gwent Council鈥檚 Economic Development Team is organising and facilitating a number of events for those who may have an idea for a business start-up or whether you are an existing business and therefore potentially looking to grow. There will be events to cater for the different target audiences such as women in business, helping young people to become entrepreneurs in the digital era and networking opportunities.
Business advice and support is available all year round through a number of events and an online free business platform called Blaenau Gwent Business Hub.鈥�
