Local Authorities have discretionary powers to award reliefs for council tax under certain circumstances. These may be referred to as section 13a reliefs for council tax . The Council has currently resolved to award reliefs in the circumstances detailed in the attached/below policy. If you think you may be entitled to any of these reliefs you need to make an application as described in the policy.
